Terms & Conditions

STKH LTD provides same day, next day, and national courier and delivery services within the United Kingdom. The specific scope, pricing, and conditions of each service are agreed at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking or shipment at our sole discretion, including where items are prohibited, where collection or delivery is not operationally feasible, or where we have reasonable grounds to believe the booking is fraudulent.

All quotes provided via our website or by telephone are indicative only and are subject to confirmation. A binding contract is formed only when we have confirmed your booking in writing (including by email).

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking — including addresses, contact details, parcel dimensions, weight, and declared value — is accurate and complete. We accept no liability for delays or failures arising from inaccurate information.

You must not tender for carriage any item that is illegal, dangerous, or prohibited by law, including but not limited to: controlled drugs, firearms and ammunition, explosive or flammable materials, live animals, perishable goods requiring temperature control (unless agreed in advance), and items of exceptional value without prior written agreement.

We reserve the right to open and inspect any consignment where we have reasonable grounds to suspect it contains prohibited items. We will report any illegal items to the relevant authorities.

Our liability for loss of or damage to a consignment is limited to the lower of the actual value of the goods or £100 per consignment, unless you have purchased additional insurance cover at the time of booking.

We accept no liability for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of profits, revenue, or business; delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including adverse weather, road closures, or industrial action); or damage to items that are inadequately packaged.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

Claims for loss or damage must be notified to us in writing within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. Claims notified after this period may not be accepted.

You are responsible for ensuring that all items are adequately and securely packaged to withstand the normal rigours of transit. We accept no liability for damage to items that are insufficiently packaged.

Fragile items must be clearly marked and, where the Fragile Handling add-on has been selected, packaged in accordance with our guidance. Selection of the Fragile Handling add-on does not remove your responsibility to package items appropriately.

Delivery times quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the quoted timeframe but accept no liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

If no one is available to accept delivery at the specified address, we will attempt to leave the consignment with a neighbour or in a safe location, or return it to our depot. A redelivery charge may apply.

Where Proof of Delivery has been selected, a signature or photographic confirmation will be obtained at the point of delivery.

Payment terms are as agreed at the time of booking. For business account customers, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Bookings may be cancelled without charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled collection time. Cancellations made within 2 hours of collection may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the agreed service charge.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time where we are unable to fulfil the service due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded in full.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of any third party.

We make no warranty that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access to our website at any time without notice.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of STKH LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
